ZamZam bank S.C is the first bank to get a license from the National bank of Ethiopia to operate as a full-fledged Interest-Free Bank in the country. The bank is established to enhance financial inclusion with a special focus on the part of society that is alienated from the financial system due to their religious beliefs or other factors. At the time of its formation, ZamZam Bank managed to mobilize a subscribed capital of Birr 1.683 billion and a paid-up capital of Birr 872 million from 11,200 shareholders.

Zamzam Bank S.C wants to hire qualified applicants to the following positions 

  • Banking Business Officer

Qualification: B.A Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 3 years of banking experience of which 1 year as junior officer.
Experience: 3 years of banking experience of which 1 year as junior officer.
Location: Tepi & Chagni

  • Senior Banking Business Officer

Qualification: B.A Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 4 years of banking experience of which 2 years as Banking Business Officer or equivalent.
Experience: 4 years of banking experience of which 2 years as Banking Business Officer or equivalent.
Location: Tepi & Chagni

  •  Senior Customer Relationship Manager

Qualification: Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields with 4/6 years of banking experience of which 2 Years as officer in financing & investment (credit) area.
Experience: 4/6 years of banking experience of which 2 Years as officer in financing & investment (credit) area.
Location: Tepi & Chagni

  •  Branch Manager

Qualification: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 5 years of banking operation experience respectively of which 2 years as senior officer/customer service manager or equivalent role in branch banking area.
Experience: 5 years of banking operation experience respectively of which 2 years as senior officer/customer service manager or equivalent role in branch banking area.
Location: Tepi & Chagni
Language: Knowledge of local language is advantageous.
