The National Bank of Ethiopia was established in 1963 by proclamation 206 of 1963 and began operation in January 1964. Prior to this proclamation, the Bank used to carry out dual activities, i.e. commercial banking and central banking.
National Bank of Ethiopia wants to hire qualified applicants to the following positions
- Legal Advisor
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
The advisor is expected to meet the following criteria’s:
2nd degree or above in Law, International Law, Pubic Law, Public International Law, Commercial or Business Law.
At least 9/7 years of professional experience in finance law, banking law, insurance law, tax law, regulatory compliance, or related activities for 2nd degree or PhD holder, respectively, of which 3 years and above in advisory or supervisory positions is preferable.
Experience in legal drafting in the Ethiopian context;
- Project Coordinator – Capital Market
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experience and skill:
2nd degree or above in Economics, Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Finance and Banking.
At least 8/6 years of experience for 2nd degree or PhD holder, respectively, of which 5 years in project management.
Experience in setting up and staffing, organization would be desirable.
